<p>The device for projecting objects upwards for firing practice designed for safety in operation has a base and four sides forming a compartment and a cover which is pulled open by springs. It has four pneumatic pistons underneath, operated by swinging levers so that the sides are swung downwards and the cover swung up for ejection of the object. A remote operated electric valve operates the pistons, so that the device is charged by introducing the object into the compartment and closing the lid by hand. The operator then stands clear to operate the remote control. The object is supported on a perforated base inside the compartment and is then ejected by compressed air from underneath. This can be located in various directions to allow the object to be discharged in a selected direction.</p> |
