<p>Cartridge prodn. from ventilated lead material for making pencil leads is from a filter press. fitted with a magazine for the lead material to be processed and a pressure piston hydraulically driven operating inside a cylinder. The material is formed in through a filter plate consisting of a cartridge press combined with the filter press into one unit. The latter is positioned horizontally. The reduction installation is formed by a shock plate positioned in the path of small strains of lead material coming at high speed from the filter plate. The compression piston, acting both as stuffing and push-out piston, may be driven to move the lead material in steps from the magazine into the cartridge cylinder.</p> |
