Jig for mfg. elements for door or window frames - where two metal profiles are bonded to foamed plastic insulation

The gap between the two profiles is closed by flexible rails to form a closed casting chamber; and the flexible rails can be moved towards or away from each other to open or close the chamber. Each of the flexible rails is fitted with a detachable sepg. rail made of harder material than the flexible rails; and each sepg. rail can move transversely w.r.t. the flexible rails. The casting chamber is filled with a hardenable mass forming the thermal insulation. The flexible rails are pref. provided with longitudinal groove in which a web on the sepg. rails is a snap fit; and the convex surface of the sepg. rails is used to form the closed casting chamber. The sepg. rails do not bond to the hardenable mass, which is foamed plastic; the result is that the foamed plastic has a smooth surface suitable e.g. for lacquering.
