摘要 <p>A temp. compensated resonator is used to measure frequencies in the cm wavelength range with a high degree of accuracy. The resonator is not affected by moisture, vibrations and aging. The resonance cavity is filled with a dielectric material. The resonator consists of a solid dielectric (1) which has titanium silicate and is covered on its outer surface by a metallic layer (2). There is a ceramic compensating element (3) on the front side of the resonator. The outer surface is metallised (4). The meatallisation is interrupted on the interface between the dielectric and the compensating element to provide a compensation coupling hole (5). This hole is used for trimming the tolerance of the compensating material.</p>
