A copy grinding machine is for decorating grinding on hollow glasses. There is a tensioning device to pick up a glass a template which can define the grinding pattern and a transmission mechanism which transmits the motion of a sensing device, guided along the template, to a grinding device. Specifically, the template has the form of a specimen roller (27).
