<p>A candle-shaped lamp, which is partic. suited to form a chain of lights for decoration purposes, consists of a shaft socket with a fitting and a tension release bracket for the electrical leads. The bulb (4) has a pointed handle flame shape and fits into the socket (3). When assembled, the socket with the soldered electrical leads (5,6) is pushed into the top of the candle-shaped shaft (2) which is made from a plastics material. The shaft has an external bulging ring (23) with a slot (15) which engages the underside (1) of the plastic socket. The underside of the socket is widened by a ring-shaped edge (14). When engaged relative motion between the shaft and socket is prevented.</p> |
