<p>A tire comprises a tread portion, sidewall portions, and beads, the tread portion having a tread pattern comprising a plurality of bars arranged herringbone fashion about the mid-circumferential plane of the tire, the tire being reinforced by a plurality of plies of cord fabric wherein at least one of said plies comprises cords of polyester fiber while a radially outermost cord fabric ply underlying the tread of the tire comprises a plurality of cords of polyamide fiber.</p> |
