<p>1464933 Camera bellows POLAROID CORP 22 Nov-1974 [28 Dec 1973] 50733/74 Heading G2A A blank for a bellows comprising, when erected, a pair of parallel side walls 100 and a forward section 102 including a first opening 114 for alignment with the camera's objective lens and a second opening 74 through which light passes to a viewing device, comprises a single, flat piece of flexible light-opaque material having an axis of symmetry 110, a pair of mirror image areas defining the side walls 100 and an area intermediate the mirror image areas defining the forward portion, the intermediate area including the first opening 114 and a V-shaped notch 106 provided with a pair of mirror image notches 160a, 160b which co-operate in the assembled form of the bellows to form the second opening 74. The blank when assembled to form the bellows is supported by retainers (116), (136), (152), (132), Fig. 4a (not shown) preferably of sheet stainless steel, the retainers serving to attach the bellows to the camera. The retainers may be integrally moulded with the pre-shaped blank. The camera is preferably of the self-processing folding reflex type. The material of the blank may be woven cotton coated with neoprene.</p> |
