<p>PURPOSE:To prevent generation of an inadequate punching by providing a regulating means at the upstream side of a punching means to regulate the thickness of a sheet material inserted into said punchig means. CONSTITUTION:In sewing a sheet material 2, the sheet material 2 is inserted in a direction A. At this time, a sheet material requlating means 49 is stopped since it butts against a regulating stopper 49b by its own weight, with maintining a gap (x) constant between the regulating means 49 and a die 10. This gap (x) is determined by the punching efficiency. When the inserted sheet material 2 is completely punched and sewed, it is pulled out in a direction B. At this time, although the thickness of the sheet material 2 is increased since a resin ring 6 used in sewing is attached to an end of the sheet material 2, the regulating means 49 is to constituted as not to be retractable in a clock wise direction, so that the sheet material 2 is able to be pulled out.</p> |
