<p>1527020 Dialkyl sulphosuccinates CHEMISCHE FABRIK PFERSEE GmbH 15 Oct 1976 [18 Oct 1975] 42980/76 Heading C2C Di-(C 4 -C 16 )alkyl sulphosuccinates are obtained by reacting H 2 SO 3 or its metabisulphites with di-(C 4 -C 16 ) alkyl fumaric or maleic acid esters in the presence of an emulsifier in an aqueous medium whose initial pH is weakly acid to strongly acid, e.g. 4À5 to 1, this acidic condition being produced by the addition of an acidic compound to the aqueous medium. Specified acidic compounds are H 2 SO 4 , HCl, H 3 PO 4 , H 3 PO 3 , CH 3 COOH and acid esters of H 2 SO 4 and H 3 PO 4 . The acidic compounds may also act as emulsifiers. The products are useful as emulsifiers in chemical cleaning.</p> |
