摘要 PURPOSE:To judge the presence or absence and the position of an abnormal fractionation by computing the ratio between the peak values of the first fractionation and the object fractionation of a sample, and comparing the ratio with a specified number. CONSTITUTION:The serum protein fractionation data of a sample from a full-automatic electrophoresis device are sequentially operated in a computer 11 through an input interface 12. At first, a peak value PMX of Alb is computed. A peak value P1 of the fractionation beta in the fractionation pattern and a peak value P2 of the fractionation gamma are computed, and ratios A1 and A2 for the PMX are obtained. When the ratio A1 is larger than a constant value K, e.g. 0.245, it is judged that there is the abnormal protein fractionation at the position of the value P1. When the ratio A1 is smaller than the constant K, it is judged that there is the abnormal protein fractionation at the position of the peak value P2 of the fractionation when the ratio A2 is larger than the constant K. The constant K can take various numerical values in correspondence with the kinds and the like of the abnormal proteins to be detected. Thus, the presence or absence and the position of the abnormal protein fractionation can be automatically judged at high accuracy.
