<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture the grain-oriented silicon steel thin sheet having high magnetic flux density and low loss with good reproductivity by subjecting a steel band having specified compsn. constituted of C, Si, S, Mn, Al and Fe to cold alternate rolling into specified sheet thickness and thereafter executing specified heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A grain-oriented silicon steel band contg., by weight, 0.02 to 0.09% C, 2.5 to 4% Si, 0.005 to 0.05% S, 0.01 to 0.20% Mn, 0.01 to 0.05% Al and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is subjected to cold rolling. This cold rolling is executed by alternate rolling as well as its final rolling reduction is regulated to 47 to 70% and the sheet thickness after subjected to the rolling to <=150mum. Furthermore, the rolling reduction in the above alternate rolling is preferably regulated to 4 to 12% per time. After that, the temp. of the cold rolled steel band is raised to 1000 to 1250 deg.C at >=3 deg.C/s temp. rising rate from an ordinary temp., which is held to the temp. for 3 to 8hr to improve its magnetic characteristics. In this way, the grain-oriented silicon steel thin sheet having high magnetic flux density and low loss can stably be obtd.</p> |
