<p>In a current supply system for wheeled vehicles which includes a DC generating device and substantially parallel running over-head lines provided with current collectors, a closed AC circuit is provided which is independent of the current collector and includes an AC generating device which feeds the over-head lines, as well as a device connecting the lines together.
