<p>The kitchen ventilation cowl has a secondary chamber (8) downstream of the primary one (3) extending over the stove, containing a filter (12) and fixed cleaning nozzles (15, 16) spraying water onto the filter, and onto part at least of the inside of the secondary chamber. The latter has an inlet (9) communicating with the primary one, and an outlet (13) leading to a discharge passage for the gases. Means (18, 19) are also included for collecting and draining off the water from the nozzles. The top part of the primary chamber can be in the shape of a dihedron, open towards the underneath. One edge bears against a fixed wall, and the other is at the inlet to the secondary chamber.</p> |
