<p>PURPOSE:To prevent transfer omission and to obtain a preferable picture by minimizing a step between the top position of the photosensitive drum and the bottom position of the entrance guide part of the transfer charger, and between this bottom position and an exit position of a pre-transfer upper guide. CONSTITUTION:The bottom position Q of the entrance guide part 36a is set lower by 0 - 1.5mm than the top position of the photosensitive drum 11. The exit position O of the pre-transfer upper guide 33b is set higher or lower by 2mm than the bottom position Q. A paper 17 is guided by pre-transfer upper and lower guides 33b and 37 and lead to between the transfer charger 34 and the photosensitive drum 11 by the guide of the entrance guide part 36a. When a paper 17 is slightly pushed by the entrance guide part 36a, it is made adhere to the photosensitive drum 11 by its dead weight. Thus, transfer omission is prevented and a preferably transferred picture can be obtained.</p> |
