PURPOSE:To make the border between a printed color picture and a Bk picture by detecting a level of a Bk component included in a 3-color picture data and applying level correction based on the result of comparison with a level of the Bk picture data of a 2nd original. CONSTITUTION:The level of the Bk component included in C, M, Y 3 color picture data is equal to a minimum level of the 3 color data. A comparator 101 selects a minimum level Dmin from the 3 C, M, Y data and a picture data correction circuit 102 based on the input data executes the calculation of prescribed data correction to each of the C, M, Y data. On the other hand, the comparator 103 compares the Bk data with the level Dmin and outputs the result to a SEL terminal of the selector 104 and in the case of Bk>Dmin, the data of a B terminal group is selected and in the case of Bk<Dmin, the data of the A terminal group is selected. Thus, the border of the printed color picture and the Bk picture is made clear and even when a color picture is dark, both the pictures are identified easily. |
