<p>The equipment lays a pipe and couples it up to a previously laid one, having a support accommodating the pipe and means for sliding it into the previously laid one. The support is part of a frame (1) equipped with three or more posts (2) adjustable for height, and having means for moving the support with pipe in relation to it in a horizontal plane in two directions at right angles to each other, and also for slewing the support on a vertical axis for a limited amount. A ram (14) slides the support in the lengthwise direction of the pipe, being coupled between support and frame, and supports are also provided for sliding the frame along the pipe and the one already laid.</p> |
