The rotor (2) is equipped with four slots (2d) which are off centre and connected at the centre of the rotor to breather hole (2e). The slots are fitted with blades (3) capable of sliding in the slots. The rotor fits in an oval casing (4) equipped with air cooling fins (4f) and closed by bolted on end covers. The casing is fitted with an inlet valve (5) and an exhaust valve (6) respectively fitted in the location of the induction and exhaust part of the cycle. A spark plug (9) ensures combustion when the gases have been compressed.
