<p>The trap and exterminator for winged insects consists of a cylinder containing a fluorescent tube, with a coloured screen placed between the light source and an electrocution grille. The electrocution grille consists of vertical bars of equal length spaced regularly around the screen. The ends of the bars are connected electrically by a conductor situated on a plane at right angles to the axis of the cylinder. Insulating caps are on each cylinder end for assembling the fluorescent tube, the screen and the bars. A base at the bottom contains the electronic components. A cover forming part of the outer shield is detachably mounted to give easy access to the corresponding insulating cap.</p> |
