<p>Prod. for rodent extermination comprises a block contg. a raticide and opt. a bait for the rodents; the block has an internal structure comprising entangled fibres spread throughout the whole block. Normal use of raticides e.g. in sewers gives a high wastage of prod. due to washing away and being dispersed by the elements etc. The present invention provides a prod. which may be used for a prolonged time without deterioration due to dilution and dispersion. The entangled fibres may be mineral, animal, vegetable or synthetic e.g. wood shavings esp. in the form of wood wool, paper clippings wadding e.g. cotton, straw etc. Raticides may be anticoagulants of the coumarin type such as 3-(alpha-acetonyl-benzyl)-4-hydroxycoumarin, 3-(alpha-acetonylfurfuryl)-4-hydroxycoumarin.</p> |
