Noise reduction device at the blocking element of a bottle lining-up table forms part of a bottle packing machine. The blocking element, during the bottle input operation, takes up a parallel position to the direction opposite to the conveyor movement of the bottles. The blocking element (6) together with its normal fittings (6a, 6b) is adjustable through a swivel axis (7) positioned on the side of the bottle lining-up table (1) between a position at an acute angle to the direction opposite to the conveyor movement and a position parallel to that direction.
