The rotary vane pump has eccentrically mounted rotor carrying radially sliding vanes. The vol. of the vane cells formed by two adjacent vanes can be varied during one revolution of the rotor. The pump is fitted with stator windings and windings on the rotary vanes are connected to the power supply. A magnetic field builds up in the windings and the rotary vanes are attracted and/or repulsed by the rotary magnetic field. A certain number of poles may attract rotary vanes in its proximity, while another rotary vane set positioned in another part of the circumference of the stator windings acts against the rotary field and is being retarded in its rotary movement. The resulting effect is, that the volume of two vane cells decreases, whereas the volume of the rest of the cells increases at the same time.
|
