The connection web with flange connects plates resting flat on supporting substrate. The arrangement is used esp. for connecting prefabricated parquet floor elements. This pliable connection arrangement replaces rigid connectors such as adhesives or nails. The expansion and the shrinking stresses of the connection web are accommodated by this pliable system. The tolerances caused by the moisture absorption are accommodated elastically by the connecting system. This prevents cracking. The connecting web prevents overlapping of the plate edges on uneven substrate. The connection web is loaded in tension when the plates expand. On contraction of the plates the connection web pulls the plates together and prevents gap formation.
