Mosaic printing mechanism uses printing wires for printing the desired symbol whereby the width of the symbol is produced by stepwise advancement of the printing wire row. The advancement step within a symbol amounts to 5/6 of the diameter of an individual element and in order to from a symbol employs six mosaic advancement steps. With a mosaic spacing of 0.273 mm in symbol height and 0,292 for a complete advancement step and a diameter of 0.36 mm for the symbol individual element there arises a symbol height of 2.54 mm and a symbol width of 1.83mm. Overlapping therefore exists in the inclined line (between points I and II) by an amount equal to 0.05 mm.
|
