Tough, ageing resistant thermoplastic materials - consisting of vinyl chloride (co) polymer, and graft copolymer of styrene acrylonitrile on EPDM elastomer

Thermoplastic moulding material consists of (A) 20-99 (70-99) esp. 75-96 wt.% PVC, or a vinyl chloride copolymer contg. >=80 wt.% vinyl chloride, and having a K value of 50-80, and (B) 80-1 (30-1) esp. 25-4 wt.% graft copolymer prepd. by polymerising styrene or 2-methylstyrene, and acrylonitrile or methyl methacrylate, in the presence of an EPDM elastomer, and an organic solvent. The material has good impact resistance at normal and low temps., good hardness transparency and resistanceto light and ageing and good processing properties.
