The system has a switch in a transverse arm, and a rectifier is connected in inverse direction to the output voltage and control devices. The range of the output voltage extends from the input voltage towards higher values. The storage inductance lies in the longitudinal direction of the energy flow. The control device drives the switch with constant switching frequency and a changeable pulse-duty factor. - The control device comprises a voltage source which produces a sawtooth voltage of constant frequency. The angle of voltage rise is adjustable according to the constant output voltage required. The sawtooth voltage is comared with a comparison D C voltage.
