<p>1489990 Apparatus for distributing concrete; liquid conveying pipe system FRIEDRICH WILHELM SCHWING GmbH 12 March 1975 [6 July 1974] 10201/75 Headings B8E and B8B Liquid concrete is conveyed on a construction site by means of an articulated pipe 17, 18, 19 mounted at 15 on one end of a boom 8 so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis through the mounting 15, the boom 8 in turn being mounted on a tower so as to be rotatable about the vertical axis thereof. The concrete is supplied via a pipe 29, a swivel connection 30, and a pipe 31 mounted on boom 8, which is itself preferably tubular. The boom is mounted on a ring track 3, mounted in turn on a climbing section 4. The sections 17-19 of the pipe-line are moved relative to each other by hydraulic rams 23-25. The boom 8 may be counterbalanced, or may be extended on the other side of the tower (Fig. 2, not shown), with a further, similar pipe-line mounted thereon, flexible pipes (32, 33) feeding concrete direct from pipe 29 to pipe (31) mounted on the boom extension.</p> |
