PURPOSE:To prevent the unevenness of exposure and to increase cleaning efficiency by stirring a developer remaining on an image carrier after a developer image is formed, making the developer into non-pattern, and electrifying the image carrier CONSTITUTION:An electrifying and stirring unit 2, a laser connection 3, a devel oping and cleaning device 4, and a transfer roller 5 are disposed in that order around the circumference of a photosensitive drum 1, namely along its rotating direction. The electrifying and stirring unit 2 is positioned on the upper part of the photosensitive drum 1, and almost uniformly electrifies the face of the photosensitive drum 1 to negative polarity. The rotating brush of the electrifying and stirring unit 2 is slid and connected to a bias power source 22 together with the rotation of the photosensitive drum 1, and a voltage is applied. Thus, a transfer developer remaining on the photosensitive drum 1 is stirred, so that a reading impossible condition is obtained; that is, it is non-patternized, and moreover, a remaining electrostatic latent image is destaticized and eliminated by a conductive rotating blush. |
