The volume of flushing gas is 2-10 times the mill volume. Further additions to vary the slag consistency produced by desulpherization of molten iron, such as carbon, limestone, dolomite, magnesite, or diamide lime may be made. Hydrogen containing additives i.e. organic polymers, polyolefins, polyamides &c. as well as urea, dicyandiamide rulamine may be added to the mixture after cooling to improve the mixture effectiveness. The mixtures must be stored out of contact with atmospheric moisture.</p> |
