1432421 Electronic calculator TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Inc 6 April 1973 [22 May 1972] 16587/73 Heading G4A An electronic calculator includes a matrix array of key switches connected between column inputs and row outputs, a display means having a plurality of inputs, scanning means for scanning in a fixed cyclic sequence the display inputs and corresponding column inputs to the key matrix, and means producing respectively first and second multibit numbers dependent upon which of the display inputs is currently which of the display inputs is currently being scanned and which key row output, corresponding to an actuated key, is energized. The calculator is formed on L.S.I. integrated circuit chips and is described in some detail together with a microprogram listing. The multibit numbers together identify an actuated key switch and may be used to address the read only microprogram register. Specifications 1,401,203, 1,401,204 and 1,401,265 are referred to in the Specification. |
