Conc. granular alkaline detergent contg. dicarboxylic detergent - phosphate, methyl-naphthalene sulphonate and foaming retarder useful for cleaning milk bottles

Granular detergent compsn., suitable for dissolution in water to give a soln. for cleansing soiled surfaces, contains 1-9 wt. % dicarboxylic detergent; 5-28 wt. % alkaline adjuvant; 5-27 wt. % alkali metal phosphate; 1-15 wt. % alkali metal methyl naphthalene sulphonate; 0-6 wt. % foam retarding agent; 5-15 wt. % NaHCO3; and 0-83 wt. % detergent adjuvant. The compsn. is used for cleaning glass, polyethylene, polypropylene and polycarbonate soiled by milk prods. bu removal of fatty acids at pH 8-12, without attacking the surface itself. The detergent adjuvant is pref. Na2SO4, NaCl, Na sesquicarbonate, Na sesquisilicate, Na2CO3 or NaHCO3. The metal phosphate is pref. Na tripolyphosphate, tetra Na pyrophosphate, tetra K pyrophosphate, Na3PO4 or Na hexametaphosphate. The alkaline adjuvant is pref. Na metasilicate, K metasilicate, Na orthosilicate or K orthosilicate.
