<p>The chain connector esp. for attaching scraper bars to round link chains of scraper chain conveyors. The middle part of the yoke shaped connector is provided with a wearing enlargement which is sliding inside guides of the conveyor pans. The wearing enlargement on the middle part (9) of the connector is formed by a detachable and renewable attachment (10). The renewable attachment (10) is made from a material of a higher wearing resistance and the connector (1) from a material of a higher tensile strength. The renewable attachment (10) is a clamp which with its centre part (13) forms the wearing enlargement and which with its side parts (14, 15) is embracing the middle part (9) of the connector. The side parts (14, 15) are tensioned against the connector by fastener (18) such as a bolt or a rivet.</p> |
