The foldable winding cover is for packaing containers with a polygon cross section consisting of several glued layers of thin paper, textile fabric plastic or similar materials with folding edges arranged parallel to the axis of the cover. The winding cover has an area transverse over its folding edges with winding material layers still in an adhesive moist condition with the layer structure deformed and partially open under gradual stretching which no longer accept its original shape i.e. the structure shape produced in the winding machine whilst retaining it's foldability.
