A cinematograph camera fitted with an exposure meter has facilities for determining the optimum aperture setting. The exposure meter (11, 12) has provision for measuring both steady and alternating light, the alternating light being derived from the intermittently operating film transport mechanism (4, 7, 8) operating an intermittent shutter. A circuit (9, T1) controlled by the mode of operation of the camera activates the direct light measurement alternative for still exposures and the interrupted light measurement is in operation in cinematographic exposures. The alternating beam may be generated by a reflecting revolving shutter (4) reflecting light intermittently to the photosensitive element (11).
|
