<p>This television frame-scan circuit modulates (23) linescan pulses derived from a transformer (8). This has balanced output windings with output switching by thyristors (13, 17) which are gated by the modulator. The common points of these windings are connected to the frame coils (18) via low-frequency resonant coils and a capacitor (15) which is connected across the frame coils. This circuit provides a decreasing amplitude of line-scan pulse energy for half the frame-scan and inverted polarity and increasing amplitude for the second half. It is concerned with the power loss in frame output stages and associated filter circuits.</p> |
