The tin dispenses individual tablets, sweets etc., comprising a vessel with outlet and a lid. Inside the vessel (2) a rotary insert (4) is accommodated, resting on the bottom (9), and with a ring of teeth round the periphery, it being possible to turn the insert from outside. The external dia. of the teeth is slightly less than the internal dia. of the vessel at their level, and the gap between adjacent teeth is at least of equal dia. to that of the tablets (9). An outlet (7) is formed in the bottom, and there is a shield (17) above this at a height equal to the tooth thickness. The latter can be equal to the tablet dia. while a cylindrical core extends upwards from the inside of the teeth, joining onto an upper cone portion.
