<p>The suction cup has a baseplate with a suction half-chamber on the underside, surrounded by a sealing lip, and has a dimension in plan view in one-direction at least of >50 mm. At the top is an eye for attachment to a crane hook. The baseplate is of elastic plastic, the sealing lip being integral with it and of section tapering towards the edge. The platic used can be high-molecular low-pressure polyethylene. The baseplate can increase in thickness from the lip edge. Pref. a flat recess is formed in the underside of the baseplate, accommodating a filter, connected via a union in the top of the baseplate to a vaccum source.</p> |
