A temperature sensor in thermal contact with the wall of this casing operates a switch 6 in the motor supply which cuts out to prevent overheating of the casing. The switch can be reset manually by a push button 7 which can be operated by a rod inserted through a hole 11 in an outer housing 8. The position of the switch 6 can be indicated by a mechanical, optical or electrical device.
