The flow limiter is intended for installation in conduits carrying flowing media. It contains an elastically deformable body (2) which deforms due to the pressure difference which arises during throughflow. The flow limiter is intended not only to limit the quantity flowing through but also to operate with as little noise as possible. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the throughflow spaces (22) are arranged symmetrically with respect to the throughflow axis and are bounded, at least in the main, by tapered surfaces (5, 18) serving as flow-guiding surfaces. <IMAGE> |
