The sectional plastic vending display stand may be used in a cosmetic store and comprises a hollow box with a display tray (8) set in the top surface and includes at least one base unit (2) with a cover unit (3). The stand may be adjusted for height by superimposing base units (2) and mechanical interlocking is provided at the horizontal joints between units (2, 3). The units may be of rectangular hollow form in horizontal section and the base has a closed top. An inner groove running along one top edge of the base unit provides support for cover units with inclined walls, and local wall slots provide for the clipping together of horizontally adjacent base units.
