<p>Azo dispersion dyes are of formula: (in (I) D is the gp. of a diazo component; R1 is H, 1-4 C alkyl, 2-4 C alkyl substd. with OH, 1-2 C alkoxy, phenoxy or benzyloxy, 1-2C alkyl substd. with Cl or Br, benzyl, 1-4 C alkylcarbonyl, benzoyl, 1-2 C alkoxyacetal, phenyl-, chloro- or trifluoro-acetyl, or 1-4 C alkoxy carbonyl; R2 and R4 are H, OH, Cl, Br, 1-4 C alkyl, 1-2 C alkoxy, 1-2 C alkyl carbonyl, 1-2 C alkoxycarbonyl, 1-2 C alkyl or alkoxy). (I) are used for dyeing or printing of fully or semi-synthetic fibres in blue to violet shades. Esp. for aromatic polyesters, cellulose acetates and polyamides. (I) give level shades with excellent fastness to light, perspiration, sublimation, thermofixing, pleating and permanent pressing.</p> |
