<p>The push-button for a battery-operated watch, e.g. used to operate a switch for connecting the battery to a digital time display, has the push-button stem (6) fitting into a radial slot (2) in the frame ring (1) of the watch case. The push button stem (6) is held in the slot (2) by a retaining stop which is formed integrally with the push-button return spring. Pref. the retaining slot and the return spring are formed by a flexible metal element (7) which has an extending tongue (8) with two prongs at its free end. The push-button stem (6) has a section (5) of reduced dia. fitting between the two prongs, the spacing between which is less than the dia. of the remainder of the stem (6).</p> |
