<p>Photographic developer contains 3-pyrazolidone(s) (I), hydroxybenzene(s) (II), p-methylamino-phenol (III) or its acid salt, alkaline preservative(s) (IV) and accelerator(s) (V). The (I)/(II) wt. ratio pref. is 3-8:1. The pref. compsn. is 1-2/l (I), 0.25-1.5g l (II) 0.25-4g/l (III) sulphate, 20-40g/l (IV) and 0.25-2g/l1 (V). Pref. (I) is 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidone (Ia), (II) is hydroquinone (IIa) and (V) is borax. The developer gives negatives of normal contrast from high contrast films.</p> |
