Fire resistant suspended ceiling - has U:shaped plate elements assembled on ground and hauled up to roof

The suspended ceiling consists of plate elements with vertical edge ribs giving a transverse U-section. The plate elements are joined together along the ribs and suspended from the main ceiling by slings hooked to the ribs. The method of erection consists of assembling the plate elements on the ground underneath the main ceiling and then hauling the complete assembly up to the roof by cables. The plate elements are made from concrete and fibre glass, or a mortar of resin and fibreglass or a composite of cement and asbestos, these giving a high mechanical strength of fire protection.
