Long life filament spinneret plate for melt extrusion - having noble metal nozzle piece let into main plate

A spinneret plate to produce organic fimanets, particularly of synthetic fibres, uses the melt extrusion process with individual spinning capillaries whose apertures are narrower than their feed passages. The plate has thin insetions of noble metals or their alloys let into the outlet side, these are thin compared with the plate thickness, they contain capillaries and are attached firmly to the plate at least in the annular area around the feed passage. Substances to clean the plate, whether additives to the spun material or aggressive external substances, do not attack the capillary nozzles which therefore have a long service life.
