The electronically controlled parking time indication is for a motor vehicle and uses a digital clock in the motor vehicle. At the moment the ignition is switched off, the time is automatically transferred to a storage arrangement with a series-connected indicator. The digital clock (1) supplies a clock pulse via a first line (2) to a relay arrangement (3) at intervals of one minute. The latter (3) is driven via a control line (4) from the ignition of the motor vehicle. The clock pulses are connected through to a second line (5) only if the ignition is switched off, otherwise the clock pulses are switched to a third line (6) by the relay arrangement (3).
