1527266 Wheel speed transducer mounting ROCKWELL INTERNATIONAL CORP 2 April 1976 [13 May 1975] 13389/76 Heading G1N(A) A wheel speed magnetic sensor 20 co-operating with an annular rotor 14 is mounted in a support structure 28 by means of a resiliently deformable plastics sleeve 42 and a member 34 for applying a force to the sleeve to produce frictional contact between it and the sensor. Member 34 may be a screw-threaded nut, a spring-biased flange 100, Fig. 2 (not shown) or a spring washer 120, Fig. 3 (not shown). The sleeve may have longitudinal slots (104) cut from one end to better accomodate non-circular cross-sections of the sensor 20. |
