Electromagnetic control valve - has armature guided in linear ball bearings to minimise friction

The electro-magnetic valve has a housing (22) with an end cap (6) forming part of the magnetic circuit. The other end cap (13) is provided with the inlet connection (11) and outlet (24). The armature (2) has a bore (27) to take the linear ball bearing (7). The other end of the armature is fitted with a shaft (4) which slides in the linear ball bearing (15). The valve is normally held closed by the spring (25) which presses the armature (2) and the valve seat (8), against the edge of the tube (3) attached to the end cap (13). When the winding (20) is energised the life of the valve is directly proportional to the current since there is virtually no friction and only the force of the spring (25) opposes the opening of the valve.
