<p>Strip-shaped fuse conductors for inert fuse cartridges are produced by forming a flat homogeneous strip of silver or copper and welding an effective wire in the longitudinal direction. The wire is welded over perforated zones of the strip. The required fuse strips are obtained by cutting up the strip in desired lengths across the longitudinal axis. Simultaneously during cutting of the fuse strip (3), the perforations (4) are stamped out on points supporting the effective wire (2) directly through the same. Thus the responsive values of the fuse strip are considerably narrowed down and application of cooling fins is obviated.</p> |
