This ski has its binding mounted on a plate (2) which is fitted to the upper surface of the ski (1). In the plate are a number of slots (3) consisting of a long slot (32) running out of a larger bore (33). Fixed to the ski (1) are a corresponding number of screws (9) whose shank (10) corresponds in size with the width of the slot (32) and whose head (35) passes through the bore (33), so that when the plate (2) is pushed forward with the screws (9) projecting through the bores (33). The plate with the harness is held in place. To ensure that the plate (2) cannot slip forward and become free a spring bore (6) carrying a peg (7) is fitted to the plate rear. The peg projects through a hole (8) in the plate to fix in holes (40) on the ski. This forms a harness which can be simply transferred from one pair of skis to another.
